Grace of the waves

[Bladefire]

A black and white pelt could be seen leaping from rock to rock, hard muscles tensing after each land and before each leap. The roar of the ocean and slapping of the waves against the cliff drowned out his heavy footsteps.
Bladefire stopped and drank in the air, to be welcomed by the comforting scent of salt. Welcome, the waves seemed to whisper. Welcome back.
He may seem like a fool for coming here so often, for this was said to be one of the most dangerous places in his territory. The cliff could easily snap under a cat like him due to weight if he ventured top far, and on some days the strong breeze could blow him away if he didnt take time to be cautious. But still, this place was special to him.
Bladefire was usually aggressive, but he had a soft spot for this place. He liked to come here alone, to feel that the muffled salty slap of the waves and the cry of the white gulls above was for him only.
He took a step back and took a quick anxious look over his shoulder.
I hope no one followed me.

[Raptorwing]

The bushes rustled behind Bladefire and Phoenixkit tripped over a stick, landing on his bottom and shaking his head before opening his eyes and looking up slowly to see Bladefire.
"Meep!"

[Destinywave]

Destinywave followed quietly along. Enjoy the salty smells of the ocean. The breeze blew past her pelt and the glaring red monster in the sky beat down on her skin. She landed on each rock gracefully and saw Bladefire and Phoniexkit up ahead. She wondered what they were doing out here. She padded towards the two toms and quietly sat down in back of them, waiting for something to happen.

[Raptorwing]

"Hello" Phoenixkit mewed to the newcomer and the tom.

[Destinywave]

"Phoniexkit, if I remember correctly."Destinywave said emotionless. "Didn't this kit belong in Bluffclan?" Destinywave wondered to herself. Many things in life were probably not ready to be answered yet.

[Bladefire]

Bladefire looked down, and then looked up at Destinywave. "Yes, BluffClan' he mewed, narrowing his eyes."Destinywave, do you know what this kit is doing here?" It definitely carried the scent of BluffClan. What the young kit was doing here was another story.
But then, Bladefire had always been an adventurous kit...

[Raptorwing]

"I got lost from my sister.. She was teaching me-" Phoenixkit declared, but stopped.

"There you are, I was looking for you, Phoenixkit. Be careful where you go off" Raptorwings growl sounded and she padded in.

[Destinywave]

Destinywave shook her head responding towards Bladefire's question. She then heard Phoniexkit declare, "I got lost from my sister." Destinywave groaned and then saw Raptorwing.

"I thought kits from other clans weren't allowed....."She thought to herself. She whipped her tail behind and watched ahead of her.

[Raptorwing]

Raptorwing snorted and sat down.
"Nice place, what do you call it?"

[Destinywave]

"Its just a place. It doesn't have a name, but its beautiful."Destinywave calmly said.

[Bladefire]

Bladefire shot Raptorwing a questioning look. Were they just going to let Phoenixkit sit there? He knew that the BluffClan kit was Raptorwing's brother, but even so..
He resisted the urge to sigh with annoyance, and turned back to watch the waves. For several moments, he could almost imagine himself down there, padding along the shore, the sinking sun warm on his pelt, white wings soaring above, the muffled slap of the water against his paws...
He looked up. "I think Phoenixkit should be escorted back to his clan" his meow and blue eyes were serious.

[Destinywave]

Destinywave sighed. "Raptorwing, he's your brother. You bring him back safely."Destinywave mummbled and looked back at the waves. Watching them crash onto each rock. She walked towards the end of the rock and jumped towards the rocks ahead and went closer to see the waves.

[Raptorwing]

Raptorwing padded to Phoenixkit and sniffed his fur.
"Can't he stay for a bit? If he trys anything, I'll personally drag him back" she asked.

[Destinywave]

Destinywave halted from a minute. But didn't say anything. Arguing with Raptorwing was like talking to a rock, a fight that you could never win.

Raptorwing waited for her answer.
"I can send him back if you want"

[Destinywave]

Destinywave flicked her tail as a yes in response. She then continued her journey of getting her close as possible to the waves.

[Raptorwing]

Raptorwing whispered something into Phoenixkits ear and then leapt down to get a view of the waves.

[Sorlandet]

Nightshade quietly slunk to a wind-swept point of the cliff. She sat down and cleaned herself, looking out to the sea. She gave a brief nod to Pheonixkit, Raptorwing and Destinywave.

[Raptorwing]

Raptorwing ignored Nightshades nod and flicked her tail to say she knew she'd nodded.

Phoenixkit dipped his head back politely and smiled.

[Bladefire]

Bladefire yawned boredly, oblivious to Nightshade's entrance.
"Well, are we going to take Phoenixkit back or what?" he turned around, catching sight of the black she-cat and flicking his tail in acknowlegement. Nightshade, wasnt it? He looked at Raptorwing and Phoenixkit, seeing the resembalance between the two, and yet how different they seemed. Raptorwing had a sharp tongue while Phoenixkit was much more... polite?

[Raptorwing]

Raptorwing looked up at Bladefire and let out a growl.
"Why can't you just shut up? If you want him to go home, take him home yourself and stop being lazy" she spat.

Phoenixkit sighed.
"I'll go by myself"

Raptorwing turned her attention to Phoenixkit.
"No you wont. As much as I hate the rule, kits are not allowed out on their own"

[Sorlandet]

Nightshade took in a hasty breath, a bit put off by the others ignoring her.
"I'll take him back" Nightshade said. For the first time the others actually looked at her

[Raptorwing]

Phoenixkit sighed and padded towards Nightshade.

"If i hear you've put one claw on him though, you wont live"

[Sorlandet]

"That is a threat duelly regarded" Nightshade said as she turned towards camp.
"And one to be duelly ignored" She said smiling to herself

[Raptorwing]

"Nice one" Phoenixkit chuckled
